Mary Wollstonecraft’ın Koruyucu Liberarizmi: Adalet ve Özen Etiği

Çağdaş feminist akademisyenler, adalet ve bakım teorileri arasındaki ilişkiyi analiz etmeye çok dikkat ettiler, ancak erken dönem feminist yazarların fikirlerine çok az ilgi gösterdiler. Mary Wollstonecraft'ın eşsiz katkısını vurgulamak için politik felsefesini çağdaş adalet/bakım tartışmalarına taşıyorum. Genellikle klasik bir liberal veya cumhuriyetçi düşünür olarak yorumlansa da, Wollstonecraft daha iyi bir feminist özen düşünürü olarak anlaşılır. Bakım görevlerinin önemini vurgulayarak liberal toplumun devrimci bir dönüşümünü hedeflemiştir. Bununla birlikte, bazı yeni feminist bilim insanlarının aksine, adalet için hala önemli bir rolün farkındaydı. Kişisel bakım verme faaliyetlerinin politik olanı dönüştürmeden önce,adaletin kişisel bakım ilişkilerine taşınması gerektiğini savunmuştur.
